Our family consists of our owners, Jeroen and Valesca and the two cats, the Maine Coon sisters, Kisha and Chani. Cats, we have learned from the first day they arrived, are much fun to chase. Since we showed them who is boss around the house we don't see much of them anymore, because our world doesn't go much further then we can climb or jump and the cats know that and use that against us.

10 Fortune Ferret rules:

1. Investigate everything, although your owner instists you don't.
2. Try all types of food and if you don't like it, hide it.
3. Collect everything you can carry and hide all object out of the reach of your owner.
4. Do your own gardening around the house. Plants are much more fun without all the soil.
5. Try to go everywhere. Don't be discouraged by dark or small places. Keep trying!
6. If your owner tells you not to do something, keep on doing it until they give up punishing you for it.
7. Don't use your litter when you are outside your cage. Why bother the walk when every corner will do.
8. Every door opened is an opertunity, so don't waste it and check it out, but be quick enough otherwise it can be painfull.
9. If you fit in the glass then you can drink from it. Don't worry if it tips over. It's much easier to drink from a puddle anyway.
10. Mess up whatever you can and if it's not broken, break it!

You see now why we are fortunate to be ferrets. Life is much fun, especially when there are other pets in the house that can be chased and teased.
